IPTV free trial

SmartSG IPTV offers a 24-hour free trial. It exists for one reason: no description on a website can tell you how a stream will behave on your television, your connection and your player. The trial lets you find that out before any money changes hands.

What the free trial includes

The trial is not a cut-down demo. You get the same line-up a paid plan gets — live channels, the on-demand film and box-set library, and the 7-day electronic programme guide — running on one device for 24 hours.

What it does not include is a payment step. We do not ask for card details, we do not take a deposit, and there is no subscription quietly starting in the background that you have to remember to cancel. When the 24 hours are up, the login simply stops working.

We would rather you tested the service properly and walked away than paid for a month and discovered on day three that your connection cannot sustain it.

How to request your free trial

  1. Message us on WhatsApp. Say you would like the 24-hour free trial. That is the whole request — there is no form and no account to create first.
  2. Tell us your device. A Samsung Smart TV, an LG Smart TV, a Firestick, an Android TV box, an Apple TV — it matters, because the right player differs by platform.
  3. Install the player we suggest and enter the Xtream Codes login or M3U link we send back. Our setup guide covers the four steps that are the same on every device.
  4. Let everything load, then start testing. Give the channel list and the guide a moment to populate before you judge anything.

What to test while the trial is running

Twenty-four hours is enough time to answer the questions that actually matter, but only if you test deliberately rather than flicking through channels for ten minutes.

  • The channels you actually want. Not the ones that happen to be at the top of the list. If you are subscribing for a particular sport or a particular country's channels, find those first and tell us if they are missing.
  • Peak time. A stream that is flawless at 11am and stutters at 9pm has told you something useful about your own connection as much as about the service.
  • The device you will really use. Testing on a laptop over Wi-Fi and then subscribing for a Smart TV on the far side of the house is not a fair test.
  • The guide and the on-demand library, not just live TV — they are a large part of what you are paying for.

Our article on what to test during an IPTV trial goes through this as an ordered checklist, including which faults are worth walking away over and which are usually a setting on your end.

If something goes wrong during the trial

Tell us while the trial is still running rather than afterwards. Most problems people hit in the first hour are fixable and have nothing to do with the stream itself — a player that does not suit the device, a detail typed with a trailing space, or a network issue between the router and the television.

If it turns out to be buffering, that guide separates the causes worth acting on from the ones that are not. If nothing loads at all, start with IPTV not working, which isolates whether the fault is your details, your player, your device, your network or us.

After the trial ends

Nothing happens automatically. There is no charge, no auto-renewal and no account left open. If you want to carry on, pick a plan on the subscription page — they run from one month at €20 down to roughly €5.75 a month on twelve — and we activate your details on the same device you have already tested.

If you decide against it, that is a perfectly reasonable outcome and the point of offering the trial in the first place.

Frequently asked questions

Is the SmartSG IPTV free trial really free?

Yes. The trial lasts 24 hours and costs nothing. We do not ask for card details or any payment method before it starts, and there is nothing to cancel when it ends.

How long does the IPTV free trial last?

24 hours from the moment your details are activated. That is deliberately long enough to cover an evening, a morning and a peak-time period on your own connection.

How do I request the free trial?

Message us on WhatsApp and say you would like the 24-hour trial, along with the device you plan to watch on. We reply with a player recommendation and your login details.

Which devices can I use for the trial?

Any device you would use with a paid plan, including Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Firestick and Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, phones, tablets and computers. Test it on the device you actually intend to watch on.

What happens when the trial ends?

The details simply stop working. Nothing is charged and there is no automatic conversion to a paid plan. If you want to continue, you choose a plan and we activate it.

Can I get a second free trial?

The trial is intended as a one-off test. If something went wrong during it that was our fault, tell us what happened and we will look at extending it rather than leaving you to judge the service on a broken test.
